Bento Box

I love this pattern and wanted to make something for me this year. It's been a long time since I've been able to completely finish a quilt.

This was so quick and easy. I love how it turned out. I quilted it with a fabulous Christmas pattern(so quick and easy!) by Dave Hudson Holly and Poinsettia

Christmas 2007

I made this quilt for Rhonda last Christmas and wasn't able to get it quilted. I did so yesterday and was able to give it to her almost a year late. I love the rooster batik backing.

I am so happy that this year we got all of our customer quilts finished on time and early in most cases. Now I can focus on getting some things for me done and some Christmas presents. Rhonda keeps giving me a hard time that the gift I made for her last Christmas is still not completed. Maybe this year lol! I loved this quilt by Marge. And it was huge! I quilted it with FlyAway

Hockey Time!

Here's a quilt I did yesterday for a customer. It is a combination of custom stipple quilting and the Happy Times pantograph.

Please take a minute to check out my new LongArm Supplies blog as I'm having a give away. You'll want to bookmark the new blog because we'll be posting great tips regularly for LongArm quilters. I will still keep the Quilted Cats blog going to show you what I am working on!

Happy quilting!

The stitch regulator went on MissMillie and lost two weeks while waiting for the part. Good news, it was a cheap part and the repair was easy to do!

So I played some catch up with some things of my own. This is quilted on my old Janome sewing machine

I started this quilt last year with the hopes of finishing it for Thanksgiving. It didn't happen. I pulled it out last week and decided it was going to be done for this year.

The original pattern wasn't this long, I wanted it long enough to fit on our kitchen table so I added 2 more pumpkins. I McTavished around each pumpkin for the quilting. And I had it on the table before Thanksgiving.

I am finally home after 2 weeks of holidays. It's been a busy week getting caught up with Longarm Supplies

We got a phone call on Tuesday at the shop. There is an auction coming up at the end of this month to benefit women's institute and the quilt needed quilted NOW. Wendy brought it over 15minutes later and I had it quilted the next day.

It is a variation of an Australian quilt. Each block was done by a different (beginner) quilter. I think it looks fantastic. I quilted the pattern Inkblot on the quilt-we didn't want to take away from the blocks.

For those in the Chilliwack BC area, the quilt is on display this weekend at the Chilliwack mall and you can buy tickets for your chance to win the quilt

And I forgot to post the close up of my quilting for the quilt below, enjoy!
