Back to work

Dear husband and I just got back from 12 days in Alberta visiting our son and daughter in law. Most of our trip was spent visiting with LongArm Supplies customers and doing machine repairs/maintance.

The summer slowdown has started and I am looking forward to emptying out my closet of quilt tops that have been waiting for a long time(some a few years!) to be quilted and completed.

This lovely *man* quilt is for Hamels quilt store.

It's been so hot

Chai has taken to laying on the floor in front of the fan. We have to be careful not to step on him lol

I did this little custom quilt. I freehanded daisies in the center blocks and throughout the borders

I also did this embroidery which is going to be made into a pillow. It was fun working with these small spaces

Rambler Rose

This quilt was pieced by Julie. I love the colors she has used in this quilt. I quilted it with Rambler Rose and my favorite Genziana thread

Home and gone again

Dear Husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise 10 days ago. It was a wonderful and much needed week of rest and relaxation. I had this quilt for Shelia to do when I got home. I love this Bistro line by Moda.

I forgot didn't I?

I posted below about the wall hanging I made for myself and I never got around to posting the matching table runner. So here you go. Both were quilted with Grape Leaves and I love how they look in our bedroom
