And we ran out of batting. We usually make it right up to Christmas. Last year Rhonda and I ended up buying batting so we could complete our Christmas presents.

Julie's Christmas quilt

Love this Christmas quilt. Julie also cut out ponsettias and appliqu├ęd them into the white sections of the quilt.

Lynn's custom

I did this quilt for Lynn earlier in the month. Lynn's entire house is decorated in pastels for Christmas; it really is lovely.

Lynn is planning on scalloping in the edges of the quilt and add on all the embellishments. I did stipple/meander quilting in the blocks. I did a wavy meander using my favourite wavy ruler on the block border instead of stitch in the ditching. And in the borders, I quilted snowflakes.

A new pattern by WillowLeaf Studios. It was perfect for this latest quilt done by Hamels Quilt Store. This kit is called Frosted Memories; I love the fabrics used in this. So wintery.

Indian Summer

I did a cutting demo in early summer for Judy Niemeyer's Indian Summer for a group of 4 women. Donna than brought her quilt back for me to quilt it.

Donna chose the pattern Mimosa and a lava thread

Magic Tile

Sharon is one of my favorite clients. She brings the quilt and I get to play with it. For this one, I decided to try a new Christmas pattern we just got in at LongArm Supplies and a yummy Lava thread

I absolutely love the fabrics she chose. Look at this border fabric; gorgeous!

And the backing fabric? All these gingerbread men. So cute

HoHo Holly Do you have yours yet?
