A work in progress

It has been a busy two weeks around here. LongArm Supplies moved to it's new home last week and we have been busy redoing the quilt studio.

On the weekend, I repainted the studio. Dave is away this week and I am in desperate need of shelving to have somewhere for my TV and the stereo to sit.

We moved Rhonda's Liberty machine down as well. It is so nice having both machines in the same room. And even better, today we had them both running!

There are still some quilts to go up on the walls, but I wanted to show you how good it looks. I'm amazed at how much space we have in the studio!

I think the best part is, I finally have my design wall back!!

It was hidden behind shelves full of stock for so long

And now already in use.

I still have more things to straighten up. Last night my shelving with magazines collapsed. Today Rhonda and I went through them and this is what we decided to get rid of.

I added a few more boxes after Rhonda took this picture. In total, there are 14 magazine boxes stuffed full. That's a lot of magazines! And tomorrow they are off to a new home.

Oooh...where are those magazines going - I might need one or two of them LOL Nice work getting all that done without a man around to do the heavy lifting!!

Wow, what a great studio space. Lots of work painting and moving but once finished- worth it.
My LQS sells old mags for $1.00 each and I love that!
