Keeping Busy

Looks like another summer where we'll be working hard in the studio. I'm not complaining; we would much rather be busy than have no work to do!

A few recent quilts for Hamels Quilt Store.
quilted with Vortex

quilted with Happy Times

quilted with Laurie

quilted with Flowing Feathers in the border and a meander through the quilt body.

Love these snowman!

A simple meander around the snowflakes and a flowing random star meander in the borders.

I've been completely overwhelmed, in a good way!, with embroidery. I just love how portable it is and how quickly you can complete a project.

I'm still working on my Birdie blocks; a few months behind now but I'm sure I'll catch up quickly.

Rhonda found these two online

I love how this one looks in my kitchen,

Last week I finally got my Cat's Life quilt finished.

I left the outer border unquilted except for the addition of paw prints and a ball of yarn. I may go back and quilt it; not sure if I like how it looks.

I got my Grace quilt finished and bound the other night. I'll have to show that to you soon. It's seems like forever since I made a new quilt for our bed.

For Market

Back in March, I was approached by Barb of Coach House Designs to do some quilts for Spring Market.

Here's a few of the quilts,

I'm sorry some of them aren't the greatest of pictures; I am not a photographer!

I loved the tree on this one

Once Barb came back from Market, it was onto quilts for her new upcoming book,

The backing fabric on this one is just beautiful.

And I love the applique.

Barb also made a matching table runner

And believe or not, I missed getting pictures on some quilts as well. Barb had a very busy spring!

And with those done, now I can get something finished up for me,

An Oldie

Was looking back at my blog and noticed that I hadn't shown this quilt I did for myself.

It's a Thimbleberries kit from Hamels Quilt Store.

Quilted with Folk Heart.
