In between trips to Calgary to visit my son/daughter in law. Trips to the interior of BC to see some of Dave's clients and fun weekends full of visiting friends, I managed to finally make myself a new quilt for our bed. I can not remember the last time I made a bed quilt for us; it's been way too long.
I bought 3 jelly rolls, a layer cake and some yardage of Grace from 1 Choice for Quilting and made this,
I sewed the strips into rail fence blocks and alternated them with a layer cake square. Hmmm, maybe I should have made the bed better before I took the picture.
Quilted with the panto Tendril.
And with some of the jelly roll leftovers, I made a few runners. One for my dresser,
and for each of our night tables.
Now I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon working on a new little something.
