Don't tell

But I finished up my Christmas wallhanging.

Yes, it's even quilted!

I used my favorite Circle Lord board, Swirls.

Then I started another one.

More finishes

I got Margaret's quilt finished for her.

Sadly, the quilting doesn't show up in my pictures; the thread matched that well.

I did tulips in the center and in the setting triangles and stippled around the swans.

I also finished up these two Christmas tree skirts for Leonna.

I quilted Holly Ribbon on this one.

And Trellis Vine on the second skirt.

Christmas Time

I took some time on the weekend for me and made up this wall hanging.

The best part is that the entire quilt is made of leftover Christmas fabrics.

I finished up this lovely quilt for Terri.

I love how the Swirls compliment the squares in the quilt.

Next up, this fun one for Margaret.

Christmas Gifities

Bev made this lovely quilt for her son for Christmas.

I love how the quilting shows in the setting triangles.

And how about this cute one from Veronica?

Such fun fabrics!

Far far away

Sylvia has been one of my clients for a few years now. A few weeks ago, a friend of Sylvia's mailed her a quilt she had made; all the way in Panama. Sylvia's friend is coming to visit in a few weeks and Sylvia wanted to surprise her with the quilt finished.

I love the center medallion.

quilted with Floral Meander

Hope Sylvia's friend loves it too.

CopyCat

I love Judy Niemeyer quilts so when Faye brought this one in, I knew I had to make one too.

Isn't it lovely?
I quilted it with the Circle Lord Swirls.

You know I just had to get this pattern to make one of my own too.

Christmas Rush

Since I've returned home, I've been working almost non-stop. The Christmas rush is in full swing and I've hit the ground running.

I did this adorable quilt for Lily using Loopies.

I love how the quilting is so subtle on the quilt.

I also did this stunning quilt for Eileen with the panto Feather Palm.

I was a little worried about the green thread being too dominating on the quilt but it works perfectly.

Such tiny pieces.

Beautiful!

Home again

Dave and I have been travelling for almost the entire last month. We headed off to New York City October 1st and spent a week there. We than rented a car and drove up to Boston and boarded a cruise and headed up the East coast into the Maritimes. It was a fabulous trip.

After a few days home, it was off to Calgary for a week of APQS machine servicing and some visiting with our son and daughter in law.

Now it's time to get back to some quilting but first, I never did show you my latest quilt.

This was a free pattern I found on line. It went together very quickly.

Quilted with the panto Tendril.

With some of the fabric leftovers, I made a table runner.

And a little table topper.
Both were quilted with the panto Bluster.

Circles

Finally finished Edna's lovely circle quilt.

I used my Circle Lord Circle Thingy and quilted circles in the circles. I than quilted a waterstitch in the background.

Edna left the circles raw-edged so they will fray up nicely when she washes it.

I also got a cute kids quilt for Hamels quilted as well.

quilted with Laurie
I even got some quilting time of my own on the weekend. I hope to finish up the binding today and I'll show that soon.

Graduation

My oldest grandson graduated this year from high school. Rhonda and I decided to make a quilt for a friend of his for graduation.

Rhonda picked up a fat quarter stack, we picked a Saturday and started sewing.

Quickly we ended up with this.

I quilted the quilt with swirls.

We backed the quilt with some Simply Color and I  love how the quilting shows up.

We have a small

Fair that is here the first weekend of August. Lots of animals to see, flowers and veggies. Chuckwagon races and fair food. Imagine my surprise when I went to look at the quilts and saw this

One of my clients had entered her quilt in the fair and won third place!

Here's the quilt

Dale(the name on the fair tag was wrong. My first name and Dale's last) picked a Baptist Fan pattern for the quilting.

The curves in the quilting really soften the points of the piecing. And I love the backing Dale went with

Congrats again Dale!

Remember Me?

I can't believe it's been so many months since I last blogged. We had a busy summer and time just got away from me.

I've kept busy with embroidery

Playing with a Twister ruler

And lots of longarm quilting.

I need to get you all caught up!

Still keeping busy quilting; thus not a lot of quilting going on.

I finished up this beautiful quilt for Sheila.

Sheila bought the kit from Connecting Threads. The quilt is a very large 118x118; almost too big to put on my machine!

I quilted it with a new panto, Tickle Too.

Now I need to get this fun quilt for Dale finished up today.
