I finished the second of Linda's floral wall hangings. I really like how this one turned out.

I used Glide thread this time and like how the thread is so much more prominent than with the SoFine I used on the other quilt.

Now I'm going to finish off a very old wall hanging of my own.

I'm using my sewing machine to quilt this one and having a ball doing so.
Have a great weekend.

Linda brought in these two quilts and asked for some thread play on the quilts. With them being so small, I knew I would have fun with these.

The threads blend so well with the fabrics that it's hard to see all the quilting so here is a picture of the back.

All that quilting and it's hardly noticeable on the front.

Now  to get the second one finished.

Quilting, quilting and quilting

Here's a few more recent customer finishes.

This gorgeous Civil War quilt by Faye.

I love the center of the quilt, a beautiful star block.

And my favorite block,

This lovely quilt by Alice

Both quilts were quilting using my Circle Lord water boards.

I quilted a beautiful quilt for Lily a few years ago. Lily made another one for her mother.

I love the watercolour effect of the middle.

No custom on this one, Lily chose the panto Jasmine Leaves.

We have family from out of town arriving tonight; it just be a fun weekend. Hope you enjoy yours!

Last year for Rhonda's birthday, her husband made her a quilt ladder. I hinted and hinted than just came out and asked for one of my own lol.

Now I think I need another one.

I have posted a few times about my new Circle Lord boards. This new board is in the oh so popular figure 8; Circle Lord is calling their boards Cycles.

The latest quilt I have put Cycles on is this beautiful flannel quilt by Joyce.

The quilt is for Joyce's daughter; she wanted a modern quilting pattern on it.

I love how it looks on the backing.

I also used Cycles on two Wee Care quilts I made for our day guild.

A cute boy quilt.

And a super cute girl one.

I just love how the pattern works with the quilts.

And how cute is this backing fabric?

Puppy Love

Quilted up Carol's quilt yesterday; it turned out really cute.

Carol wanted a pattern that looked like paw prints so we went with Popcorn.

Love how it looks on the applique.

This is such a cute quilt!

Now I can finish up Alice's pretty quilt.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

It's been a long week

But I finally finished Lois' custom quilt.

I did a feather in the outer border.

In the flying geese border, I water stitched around the geese and in the inner border, I did a ribbon stitch.
In the body of the quilt, I used my boards and did a baptist fan.

This was a BIG quilt; I didn't think I would ever get it finished lol.

As a reward to finishing, I started working on some Wee Care quilts for our quilt guild.

I have a few more blocks to make.

And than a girl quilt to start.

I am spending the day doing some custom work on Lois' quilt.

Earlier this week, I did this fun one for Ina quilted with a fun Rainbow Trout panto.

Now I need to ignore the sun that has finally made another appearance and get back to quilting.

We had a lovely Easter weekend; the weather was outstanding! It was a shock when the air conditioning turned it was that warm outside.

I did get to spend some time inside. I worked on finishing up this embroidery project.

I decided to crosshatch quilt it and am very pleased with the result.

Yesterday Rhonda and I went through our customer quilts and discovered that we have 56 quilts in right now to be quilted. 56!!!

So this morning I did up this lovely quilt for Kathy using my crazy8s board.

I love this fabric line; check out her backing fabric.

I guess that means we have 55 quilts to quilt now.
