It's been a busy week at Quilted Cats Hideaway ; we have many quilts ready to go back home with their owners.

I quilted this lovely one for Linda.

Linda took 4 panels, cut them apart and sewed them back bargello style to make this quilt.

It makes for a very striking quilt.

I also did this lovely bali pop quilt for Hamel's.

I used my Circle Lord swirls board for the quilting. I like how the swirls soften the squares.

Now one left to quilt that I need to bind as well. Than time to enjoy the weekend.

Hello, hello

Dave and I just got back from a lovely camping trip up at Watch Lake. Since Dave was planning on fishing most of the time we were there, I packed along my sewing machine and got two quilt tops finished.

First, this lovely pinwheel quilt.

Sorry for the wrinkles, I pack a teeny tiny iron when we go camping.

I also finished this quilt top.

Yesterday it was back into the quilting studio. I quilted up this lovely quilt pieced by Linda.

Quilted with Bountiful Feathers
I love how the quilting complements the fabrics.

And her fabulous backing.
Beautiful!

Opps

How has it been two weeks since I last blogged? Can I blame it on the gorgeous early summer that arrived when I stopped blogging?

Last time I blogged, I was talking about a beautiful custom quilt I was getting ready to quilt. This was going to be the first time using the Circle Lord templates so I wanted to get some practice in.

So much easier to use than it looks.
And check out these feathered wreaths.

And now Marianne's quilt. When I saw Marianne's quilt, I asked her if I could custom her quilt as a practice piece. I was thrilled when she said yes.

I put the feathered wreaths in the white.

A freehand feather in the green chains.

And a feather border in the border.

The feather blended a little too well lol.

This was such a fun quilt to do and a big thank you to Marianne for letting me play with her quilt.

More Finishes

I've had a difficult week workwise. Had an issue with my machine on Monday. I changed bobbins, needles, rethreaded and still it was acting up. Dave and I ended up having to adjust my needle bar and re-time it that evening and Tuesday morning I was back up and running.

Good thing too since I had this quilt of Jilly's half quilted lol.

Such a pretty quilt. I quilted it with Cycles.

And just in case you thought I didn't do pantos anymore, I quilted this lovely quilt for Joyce

quilted with Mimosa
Such lovely fabrics!

Now I have another custom quilt to fill my time. Will have to post some pictures on my progress.
