Back to Work

I finished this lovely quilt for Carol yesterday.

So bright and cheerful! Carol requested the panto Daisies Galore; a perfect choice.

Today I am working on an adorable quilt and matching pillow shams.
Hopefully they will be done tomorrow and I can show you.

I celebrated

My birthday on Sunday.
Dave finally made me a box to hold all my Circle Lord templates in.

It's wheels so very easy for me to move it around and access it.

Rhonda made me this beautiful quilt.

It was a lovely day.

Out with the old, in with the new!

As many of you know, we have a very popular discount pattern drawer at Quilted Cats. Yesterday, we went through it and removed some patterns and added 7(!!) new ones.

Back in Business!

I got my sewing machine back earlier and I've been sewing up a storm on a not, so little something.

I can't wait to see this come together; I am loving it so far.

I also got something of my own quilted.

I kept the quilting simple and echo'd all the applique.

Now to get the binding done so I can really enjoy it.

I love Batik quilts

And Judy Niemeyer Batik quilts are my favorite. This one of Carol's? She is lucky to have gotten it back(haha).

Isn't it gorgeous??

Carol did a fabulous job piecing this. The colours flow so well together.

We went with the panto Dandelion. It's a very time consuming panto but so worth it.

Out for Service

It's been quiet here on the sewing front. My Pfaff is in for servicing. Feels like it just went in for that and here we are again. Makes me sad to see my sewing table empty.

I've been busy doing client quilts.
I love this one by Marie.

We went with the panto Loop the Loop.

It's always neat to see how a simple design can make such a fun quilt. Marie wanted to showcasse the motorbike fabric. She did a great job.

Today I'm working on a stunning quilt by Carol; can't wait to show you!

I love how

A simple block can make such striking quilts.

Juliana made this Disappearing 9-patch.

Compared to my post the other day, Juliana chose a very seldom used panto called Twilight.

It works so well with the modern fabrics in the quilt.

Onto the next one!

Bayside has quickly become one of our most popular pantos for clients.

Delinda pieced this fabulous batik quilt.

The pattern flows so nicely with the piecing.

Bonnie made this lovely quilt for her daughter.

Bayside again provides such movement!
