Here are the promised pictures of Margaret's stunning quilt.

I stippled in around all the applique.

And did some flowers in the setting triangles

I went with a variegated blue and white thread; I love how it shows up in the white.

And in the border.
Margaret's mitered borders are always perfect.

Beautiful as always Margaret!

I love Wednesdays

It's my day off and I get to spend more time working on this.

I've had the embroidery blocks done for awhile now. A very long while.

I've got a good start on the blocks

Maybe I'll get it finished before Christmas.

Quilt Show

Over the weekend, our local evening guild had their semi-annual quilt show. Sadly this year I did not make it out to the show due to my Judy Niemeyer class.

May made this beautiful quilt for the quilt show.

Just stunning.

Mary went with one of my current favorite pantos. Flirtatious Leaves.

Fabulous job Mary!

Equally as beautiful, this quilt by Kerry.

Kerry made this quilt for her soon to be 4yr old grand-daughter.

Now that the quilt is quilted, Kerry is going to scallop the edges.

I get to spend the day at a class making this.

This is the colour scheme I chose.

Hopefully I can get a good start on it. The cutting is usually the worse part.
Happy weekend!

Jelly Roll Race

I love this Jelly Roll Race quilt that Salli made.

I love how Swirls looks with all the straight lines.

And a finish for me.

I used a Circle Lord Board that I have never used before called Rosebud.

I love how the flowing pattern flatters the piecing.

And I love even more having a finish for me!

Oh Baby,

I finished this adorable quilt for Sue the other day.

The pattern Surf's Up was a perfect choice.

I have a little something of my own to quilt now.

I'll show you the rest soon!

Fall Fun

I love my new fall wallhanging.

I had fun doing detailed quilting on it.

I love the owl.

And the autumn banner.

Continuing with the fall theme, I quilted this for Faye.

Faye coloured in the embroidery which is a new favorite for me to do with embroidery too.

And this fun owl quilt for Hamels.

The embroidery is so detailed.

For whatever reason, the colour on the first two pictures is really off. Here is what the blocks really look like.

So cute!

Latest quilts

That I have quilted up for some of my favorite clients.

Such a lovely fall quilt by Sheila. I did a tight stipple around the leaves and a piano key in the border.

How about this fabulous modern baby quilt by Lauriane.

I quilted a 1/4 inch and a half inch out on all the seams.

This lovely quilt by Marie

We kept the quilting soft and went with Chantilly Lace.

The Christmas rush is almost in full swing, still time to get your Christmas quilts booked in!

Quilt Show quilting

Our day guilds quilt show is at the end of this month and we've been busy in the studio getting quilts ready for show.

Nora made this lovely batik quilt.

Nora wanted movement on the quilt so we went with Swirls by Circle Lord.

This is Juanita's first quilt.

Such a fun quilt. Juanita chose the pantograph Fliratious.

And this gorgeous quilt by Flo.

This one isn't for the show but for Flo's daughter who lives in Japan.

The colours are beautiful.

We went with the pantograph Bountiful Feathers; it was a perfect choice.
Enjoy your quilts ladies!
