I couldn't be happier

With how my Jelly Roll Star quilt has turned out.

I love the brightness of the colours.

I am thrilled with how the borders turned out.

Now maybe I can get it quilted this week.

Embroidery Love

Marcia brought in one of my favorite CrabApple Hill quilts.

I used a new panto called Ripples. I love the movement it creates.

Her embroidery is perfect.

Thanks again Marcia!

Birthday Fun

Dave's birthday was on the weekend. For the past few months, he has been hinting at wanting a Pomeranian puppy and call it Blueberry.

So for his birthday, I made him this.

Isn't it cute?

I also got some progress done on my wall hanging.

I have a lot of stars left so I'm not sure how this is going to end up. But I'm sure having fun with it!

Little one

My son, daughter in law and new grandson were here visiting over the weekend. It was so good to see them.

They grow so fast at this age!

I haven't spent very much time quilting but I did get started on a little something new

Today is a sewing day; maybe I'll get something finished.

Is typically a slow month for us. It's nice as it gives us a chance to catch up on some quilts of our own and relax from the crazy pace at Christmas.

I recently finished up these two quilt for Bev.

We went with a fun Clamshell using my  CircleLord boards.

And on Bev's other quilt, some fun Loopies.

Such a fun quilt!

And her backing fabric, loved it.

Thanks again Bev!

A long weekend

And some uninterrupted sewing time and I have a good start on my jelly roll star quilt.

I love the colours

I've played with some border options and I think I finally settled on how I want to finish this off.
Stay tuned!

oh Baby

Isn't this cute?

This is one of the latest baby quilts offered at Hamels Quilt Store.

The giraffe is minky; so soft!

I went with a loopy meander for the quilting.

I also finished this fun one by Faye.

We went with Wanders for the quilting to keep it fun.

Today and tomorrow are my days off; hope to have something fun to show you soon!

Jelly Roll Star

aka the Binding Tool quilt.
This quilt was offered as a class last fall; sad that I missed it with beautiful quilts like this quilt of Leslie's.

We went with the panto, Ground Cover.

And I was lucky enough to get into the latest class last week,

Can't wait to get this finished!!
